STX Cloud: Promotions

 

Create business discounts for services and products to apply during checkout.

 

Create a Promotion

  • Go to Marketing, and click Setup Promotions

  • Click + New

  • Enter a Promotion Name

    • Tip: include the amount i.e. $5 or 10%

  • Select if promotion is a Service Discount, Product Discount, or Both

  • Enter a Discount Amount is a monetary value that will be subtracted from the subtotal

  • Enter a Discount Percentage is a percent value that will be subtracted from the subtotal

  • Select a Start Date & End Date to limit the availability of the promotion to specific dates

  • Sort Order is the placement in the list, on the ticket dropdown, where the promotion will appear

 

Apply a Promotion to Whole Ticket

  • Open an existing or new ticket from the Check Out page

  • Click + Promo and a pop up screen will appear

  • Select a Promotion from the list and click Add to Ticket

    • The line item amounts will adjust automatically.

Note: To remove the promotion from the full ticket, click the + Promo and set the dropdown list to None.

 

Apply a Promotion to a Single Service or Promotion

  • Open an existing or new ticket from the Check Out page

  • Select a Service or Product and a pop up screen will appear -or- click an existing line item on the receipt to see the same pop up.

  • Select a Promotion from the dropdown list

  • Click Add to Ticket.

    • The line item amounts will adjust automatically.

Note: To remove the individual promotion, click on the specific line item on the receipt area of the ticket. Click the Promotion/Reward dropdown list and set it to Select Promotion.
